Technology: Technology advances every day, from HTML, flash based sites, and even WAP based technology to access sites on your mobile phone! As said above it's not always the best choice to go for the latest and greatest new technology. One big mistake a lot of people fall into is flash based websites. Flash websites can be, well very "Flashy", they are an interactive medium that allows users to interact, play games and experience special effects, they are also generally alot more expensive then your standard HTML based site. In addition to this, flash sites are not very Search Engine friendly. There are however ways around this to make flash sites accessible - having said that it is much more costly, as there is much more involved in the process.
For this reason we primarily recommend HTML sites, of course you can still have fancy effects by embedding flash into your page, this gives you the best of both worlds, and is far more economical. JT Design Solutions offers the following services and technologies in relation to website design:
- HTML Scripting: This is the basic code that makes up your website, tells the browser what to display and how.

The reason for this is a lot of annoying popup ads etc are controlled by javaScript, so turning it off is a means of getting rid of them. Most businesses would not like to instantly loose a possible 10% of their market, so we advise use of javaScript only where required.
